Thoughts To Ponder

Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful. Mark Victor Hansen

Happy after the holidays~

Hi all! Someone just sent us a comment wondering if everything is okay since I have not updated the blog for 2 weeks. Thanks for your concern and yes we're doing well despite a few things: the computer got this "Vundo" virus and we were without it right before Christmas, then Mom and Dad came and we had a wonderful visit, and yes to top it all off we're on round 3 of head lice for poor Miss Megan. I must say she is quite the trooper and we have become experts on this pesky bug and we've learned that the life span of a lice can be up to 1 month so she just keeps getting it just when we think we've become "lice free"....so now our family is on a mission to get over this and move on as it is very time consuming for everyone involved.

I have lots of great pictures to download and hope to get that accomplished in the next week or so. Scott is getting back in the groove and starting to think about writing his 25 page research paper..ugh! We just took all our decorations down and are ready to embrace the New Year and all it has to offer. For now, we're going to have a fun family week and enjoy Scott being home with us and play for just a little longer before we have to get back to the daily grind!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for the NEW YEAR! :)

Hugs~Alaina :)

  1. I'm glad you had a wonderful Christmas. I hope you can get rid of the lice once and for all. I am so sorry you have to go through that. I hope I never have to deal with that one.

We had a wonderful Christmas with both our families. We went to both parents for Christmas. We spent 4 days there and have been spending the last 2 days catching up on laundry and putting the house back in order.

I'll look forward to your blogs of 2009!
